The food is okay. The entire place is absolutely disgusting though. The tables were all dirty. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in a month. My 7 year old spilled a little water on the floor (which I informed the staff of, and didn’t clean up my self with my hands and napkins because the floor looked so disgusting. And it takes one second to mop it). It took the staff a good 10 minutes to come out and mop it up so people were just tracking dirty water all over the store. The bathroom looked like something from a horror movie. Do not recommend. NC Bagels is way better and cleaner. After we ordered they asked us again what we ordered like they didn’t just take our order. Just overall a terrible experience. It also wasn’t busy at all so no excuse there.

I recently stopped by Bruegger’s Bagels in Preston, Cary, NC, and had a really enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for fresh bagels, good coffee, and a quick breakfast or lunch spot, this location is definitely worth visiting. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant felt clean, welcoming, and well organized, even during a busy morning rush. The bagels were fresh, soft on the inside, and perfectly baked with just the right texture. You can immediately tell they are made with quality ingredients and prepared fresh. There were plenty of bagel flavors to choose from along with a large variety of cream cheeses, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch options. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee, and both were excellent. The sandwich was hot, flavorful, and filling without feeling overly heavy. One thing that really stood out was the customer service. The staff members were friendly, patient, and worked efficiently to keep the line moving. Even with several customers coming in, the employees remained professional and helpful. The food came out quickly, and everything was prepared correctly. This morning after waiting over 20 mins for 2 bagels with cream cheese I opened the bag to find both are undersized, completely squished, have basically no cream cheese on them. Totally disappointed. I would’ve honestly made them re make it had I checked before leaving.

I wanted to like this place because the staff were genuinely very kind and welcoming, and the service itself was friendly from start to finish. Unfortunately, my experience with the food and cleanliness was disappointing. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, and later became sick with what seemed like food poisoning, which made the visit very concerning. In addition, the dining area did not appear well maintained.. the floors and window sills were covered with crumbs, which gave the shop an unclean impression. Friendly customer service is definitely a positive, but food safety and cleanliness need much more attention.

Went here a while back. I’m from the northeast and I know it’s kind of difficult to find bagels around these parts that are good. I don’t personally actively search for them, but the bagels here a pretty good, nothing to boast about, but still good. I got 2 bagels. One was the signature Salmon Sandwich. This was tasty, with the lox spread and capers. Wasn’t overwhelming with the fishiness. Then I also got the Farmhouse Sandwich, if you want the ultimate breakfast sandwich, this is the one to get, it’s got everything and more and the bread is so savory.
